Amanda Beauregard is an associate attorney with the firm's Health Law practice, where she provides services and consultation to many different healthcare providers, including hospitals, clinics, physician groups, skilled care facilities, assisted living residences and other elder care providers, ambulatory surgery centers, EMS providers, and community health centers.
Amanda assists clients with a variety of state and federal regulatory matters governed by such agencies as the Department of Public Health (DPH), the Department of Mental Health, the Executive Office of Health and Human Services, the Office of Medicaid (MassHealth), the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, and the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). Specifically, she advises clients with respect to DPH licensure filings; MassHealth and Medicare certification requirements; obtaining Determination of Need approvals; state and federal grant opportunities; and Board of Registration of Nursing Home Administrators investigations. Amanda also has experience in providing general business and corporate legal services in areas including healthcare privacy, patient rights, and policies and procedures.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Amanda worked as a law clerk at Summit Health Law Partners. Prior to joining Summit Health Law Partners, Amanda worked for Business Benefits Insurance Brokerage, where she advised small business clients regarding group insurance benefits and compliance with relevant state and federal laws, including the ACA, COBRA and HIPAA.

In 2018, Amanda donated 12 inches of her hair to Children With Hair Loss, a non-profit organization that provides human hair replacement to children and young adults facing medically-related hair loss. She plans to donate again once her hair grows back.

Amanda and her husband, Patrick, love to travel to tropical destinations. Together, they have swam with dolphins in the Bahamas, reef snorkeled in the British Virgin Islands, and swam among rays and sharks in Bora Bora.
- Assists healthcare facilities in filing and securing Determination of Need approval for projects, including those pertaining to medical imaging technology, capital expenditure projects and substantial facility renovations, and transfers of ownership
- Represents healthcare facilities, including hospitals and clinics, in filing DPH licensure requests for construction, renovation, or opening of new services, units, and satellite locations, and obtaining related approvals required for operations
- Assists clients in filing MassHealth and Medicare applications and obtaining certification
- Aides in the representation of nursing home administrators before the Board of Registration of Nursing Home Administrators
- Protects hospital and physician group clients in responding to medical record requests and related patient and information privacy matters
- Assisted community health center in obtaining federally qualified health center status via HRSA
- Counseled community health center clients on obtaining infrastructure and development funding via the Executive Office of Health and Human Services
